Professor Dr. Han Zheng
Professor Dr. Han Zheng is Chair Professor of Entrepreneurship and Marketing at the Sino-German School for Postgraduate Studies (CDHK), Tongji University in Shanghai. He also serves as Chief Representative of the Haniel Group in China since 2008. He is visiting lecturer and senior research fellow at the Asia Research Centre of the University of St. Gallen and executive trainer at ETH Zurich, Switzerland. Prof. Han has worked as advisor for several Fortune Global 500 companies on different China-related projects. As a native Chinese he studied in Germany and holds a combined Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration. He completed his Ph.D. at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland and was scholar of the Swiss National Science Foundation, visiting scholar of the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) in China and the Wharton-SMU Research Centre in Singapore. Before his academic career he gained relevant practical experience at companies including McKinsey & Company and the Research and Technology division of Daimler in Germany. Prof. Han’s teaching experience includes MBA and EMBA courses of renowned international business schools and universities such as ESSEC, Mannheim Business School, IEDE, Rice University and ETH Zurich. His articles appear in journals such as International Journal of Technology Management, Journal of Knowledge Management, R&D Management and Journal of Change Management.
