Professor Dr. Han Zheng
About Professor Dr. Han ZhengProfessor Han Zheng is Chair Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Sino-German School for Postgraduate Studies (CDHK), Tongji University in Shanghai. He is visiting lecturer and senior research fellow at the Asia Research Centre of the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, and founder of a coaching and training institute dedicated to development of young professionals as well as senior executives. As a native Chinese he studied in Germany and holds an Industrial Engineering Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He completed his Ph.D. at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland and was scholar of the Swiss National Science Foundation, visiting scholar of the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) in China and the Wharton-SMU Research Centre in Singapore. Prof. Han has worked on strategy and innovation projects in China with MNCs as well as mid-sized international companies. Before his academic career he gained relevant practical experience in companies such as McKinsey & Company and the Research and Technology division of Daimler in Germany. He served 7 years as Chief Representative of a Fortune Global 500 company in China. Prof. Han has a passion for teaching and training. He teaches MBA, EMBA and top executive programs for leading international business schools and universities such as ESSEC, Mannheim Business School, IEDE, and ETH Zürich. He frequently gives workshops, training and keynote speeches for MNCs. His articles appear in renowned international journals such as International Journal of Technology Management, Journal of Knowledge Management, Journal of Change Management and R&D Management.
